|John Chapman is a baby boomer living in a South Eastern suburb of Melbourne Australia. Less than 1 Km away is the 300 hectare Braeside Park where he enjoys walking and documenting the local wildlife. Photography has always been an interest, but the advent of digital cameras has allowed instant gratification in being able to see the image immediately and allowed refinement of technique.
Currently, the weapon of choice for bird life is a Sony A700 with the Sigma 50-500mm F4.5 -6.3 lens. Photography is now a shared hobby as Mrs C has picked up the cast off Minolta 5D and is doing really well. John maintains his own website at www.chappo1.com where more of his images can be found.
